How to protect from Hail?
Okay, yes, we in good ol Sunny SoCal are having now "Storm Watches" when it's nothing compared to other parts of the world and the east coast etc
But, I wanted to know: how do you protect your car from hail if you cannot park in a garage? Fortunately, overnight, I am in a garage, but during the day at work, I don't usually have a covered spot... sooo What can I do? What do you in parts of the world where hail is more prevalent do?

lol i've seen hail so many times it's almost a non-event. socal is dieing onoes!!!@#!
seriously though, unless it's quarter sized or larger, it probably won't do much damage at all. precious socal isn't going to see big hail like that. and even if there is damage, paintless dent repair is covered by your insurance due to acts of "god." |

this. wait til you've seen baseball-sized and larger hail. i've seen that dozens of times. that leaves a dent. piddly pea sized hail isn't going to do any damage...and if you socal guys get it, take pics. i won't believe it until then.

We see this in Texas and I go the other way.
I can't count how many times I have seen neighbors go out when it is hailing. I just sit and watch, waiting for a big one to doink em'. I think they are from another state or something. |
