What are you giving up for Lent?
Me? Sobriety and standards.
What are some funny/serious things you're giving up for Lent? Last edited by Derek Zoolander; 02-17-2010 at 08:59 AM.. |

And it's no longer just a Catholic thing. It's pretty much spread across all christian religions, and even those that don't practice anything. And the real Lent is actually doing something good/helpful, you don't have to actually give up anything. Lots of people spend time volunteering during lent or volunteer for additional things. Things they don't usually do during the year. Something like that. I was raised catholic and i don't even know, although i don't practice anymore. |

Idealistic thing to give up would be speeding, but that won't happen. Realistically, I can try giving up beer.
