I actually read that article and it seems like its going to be a very nice S series Audi. I actually wouldn't mind owning one at all?
Possibility of 542 horsepower? Shiiiiiiet. And I can drive it in the snow! They conveniently left a price estimate out, too Wonder if its coming to America...

An RS5....how is that in any way in the same class as the 335? That's gonna be a $60k+ car, easily.

Sometimes, I wished I had kept my B7 RS4
That RS5 looks beautiful. But as Noc said, that baby is going to run easily in the $70s, and likely $80s fully optioned....and don't forget about maintenance! If it came out today AND I was looking to upgrade from my 335, I'd probably go with the e92 M3.

I'm not worried. So Audi has the jump on BMW for the moment.....just wait till the new F10 M5 comes out (pretty soon actually) and the TT M3 in 2012/13 and it's game over....the cycle continues.
Yeah and a Civic is nowhere near the lvl of any BMW or Audi so..... 335 is not to RS5 as Civic is to ______ The fact that a modded 335 can keep up with half these cars says alot about the N54 and it's potential.

So by your logic you're comparing a modded 335 to a suped up Civic?

thats a sexy ass car. if something ever happens to my 335, I will probably jump ship. The S5 didn't appeal to me as much but definitely when Audi adds the 'R' to any model, it steps up to the plate.

I think since 335 has been so easy to get into the teritory of Vipers and Z06 Vetts (straight line performance, and not too bad in corners either), we automatically compare it to these cars. I mean it takes a 335i around 2-3K to get into 11s.
For 75K+ (which we are still not sure about), I'll take my GT-R. Let's not forget the new M5 either. |

I'd like to see what it does on a track, the RS4 was a really nice ride but so heavy it couldn't keep up with the e90 M3's.
AWD cars with that much power are fun though, I'm sure this will take a big bite out of the M market because of that, at least north of the Mason-Dixon. |

Well said. For $75K, GT-R hands down..... M5 will probably be in the RS5's ballpark, maybe even more. E60 M5's were about $90K new...I wouldn't be surprised if the new F10 M5 wasn't sub $100K range, with the new M6 being even higher.
