yeah, it's the AUC.
AUC stands for Automatic Air Recirculation. Damn germans and their acronyms! Anyway, it sits right in front of the a/c microfilter, and "sniffs" incoming air. if it's determined that incoming air is polluted or offensive to the nose, it closes the recirculation flaps, as long as your recirc is set to auto. Pretty cool when you're driving through cow country. Ok, guys, new rule... I can't enforce it AT ALL, of course, but let's try to avoid RealOem next time. It takes the fun out. |
