Looks interesting, but the price is kept low because it looks to be a totally manual lens. I don't see any electrical connections to communicate any information between the lens and body. So it will be totally manual experience, including aperture and shutter speed. Not that this is a terribly bad thing, I think it will just severely limit the audience for the lens.

meaning that the depth of field will be just about the same as a 50/1.8 on a full frame camera. The utility of this lens depends on how the 4/3rds body used at ISO 1600 compares to a good FF body like the D700 or 5D2 when used at ISO 6400.

I'm not saying that fast reduced format lenses don't have their place - just that you can probably do pretty much the same thing with relatively common lenses on an FF body.
