Hi Guys,

Last week I was at a McDonalds in Erfurt (former DDR land) and I saw this tuned Opel. I just had to laugh! Looks like the M-brand is everyones envy! Even Opel drivers. The more I looked at his exhaust, you can see how the right pair are total fakes! Reminded me of the 1st generation Audi TT owners who bought the base car(180 Hp w/one tail pipe) and they would cut and install a 2nd fake exhaust on the right side! Well.. at least this guys install was clean.

Maybe we can start a new thread here? Post your pics. lol

Quad exhausts aren't "owned" by the ///M cars.

I doubt very much that the driver of that Opel was trying to make his car resemble an M6.

+1. besides, those are connected to the muffler as far as I can tell.

+2. Tons of cars have quad exhaust pipes. Not a M only styling cue at all. And it looks like they are connected to some type of pipe.

In the case of the Opel it appears that the tips on the right side doesnt have the muffler body attached to it. I dont have any experience in that vehicle to know for certain.

Damn... OP? Well the quad exhaust is a little much for that baby Opel, but it does appear to wrap around towards a muffler, which I assume is on the drivers side just like the 328i. Several members here have a similar set up with duals.

Now claiming that the guy is trying to imitate an M is just being a snob.
