Moved to istanbul

Well,I wasn't at the post for maybe weeks.Because ı was moving to istanbul. When I was moving,I sold my 2008 M3 and bought a clean used 320d E92.It ıs powerfull, but really you see the difference between those 2.I sold my car some originally. Some might ask BTW,I didn't get my m3,because istanbul has a awfull lot of traffic.I think it will kill me because of the consumption.I have a question;will it look too cheesy if i buy a m3 replica kit for a 320d?I already installed angels,m-dct knob, modules and some details.I sold mine with brembo brakes,HRE P40s and active autowerke products like egsausth, pulleys and chip.I only took the parts I can use.

You made the responsible choice in going for a 320d...it will look cheesy to add M stuff to a non M car.

It will look cheesy. I am planning to take my car to Istanbul in the next couple years therefore saving some gas mone now 1 US gallon costs about $9.50 for 95 octane gas. Damn the crazy government tax on it.

The reason i take it there becuase my $68K car cost 160K Euros in istanbul due to crazy taxes

In istanbul i drive X3 2.0Td it has a very good acceleration for a car in its engine. Audi A5 3.0TDI is a great car to drive there too.

Leave the car as is... It will look too cheezy to put all of that crap on a non-M3

Hope you are tax exempt and / or won't register the car in Turkey. If that is the case your car will cost close to $160K after all said and done.

It does not make sense to take your car to Istanbul. If you want to drive your car in Turkey, either you pay the tax at customs or you should drive your car with usa licence plate and so you will have to take your car out of Turkey at every six months and everytime you drive, you have to carry your passport. Third option, if you are a citizen of usa (without being citizen of Turkey), you can register your vehicle under your nationality and you do not pay any taxes.
