Last night, my family lost a family member.

Neuron Petkowski, our dog and the source of my log-in name to this forum, was put to rest after acute renal failure.

He loved his rope bone.
When he ran, it was beauty in motion.
I'm pretty sure he loved riding in the e90.

He was one of the important parts of my life that gave my "road" purpose.
We were blessed to have him share his life with us and we will miss him dearly.

im very sorry for your loss.

i have a collie as well who's just about the same age. a few months ago his stomach bloated and flipped and we almost lost him. i know how you feel and wish you the best of luck through this hard time.

So sorry to hear, my cousin had a Collie when I was younger, what an amazing dog. Losing a dog is honestly like losing a family member.

I am so sorry to hear that. Unfortunatly our family lost a pet as well yesterday. His name was Maxie, he was a Yorkshire Terrie and he was 16 years old. I know how you are feeling it's very hard to lose a pet. We had a famliy burial today and we will miss him dearly!!!!!!!

That's the downside of getting a dog; you get so attached to it and when it goes, it's miserable.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts.

Neuron was also a big source of being the subject of my "graphics" and ill humor.

Here he is in the same shot from above, smoking out with Jack White of the White Stripes and some other smokers. (BTW, the cat's really ours. I'm sure he's wondering where Neuron's been and thinks he took the lighter again...)
