BMW 335i or Audi S4 Avant

Thanxx you for looking in!!
I am expecting my first baby soon and now I am in a market looking for the new car.
I am thinking right now between 2010 BMW 335i or the 2010 Audi S4 Avant.

What do you guys think of the cars and can you help me decide?
Audi S4: 245kW (333ps) Torque 440Nm (44.9kgm)
BMW 335i: 225kW〔306ps〕/5,800rpm Torque 400Nm〔40.8kgm〕

Really depends, Audi has better interior and performance. BMW more involving to drive by way of the RWD.

The S4 also feels like a much bigger car. What are your priorities?

If you think to need AWD and space, get the S4 Avant. You can't get wrong. S4 is worthy and a really very good car, contrary to A4. Yet IMO, Audi Avant's look much better than Audi Sedan's.

For me, only S3, S4, S5, RS5, RS6, S6, S8 and R8 match BMW. All the rest is not worth a BMW.

Did not notice you were in Japan. If I were in Japan, then I would still get BMW over Audi any day.

Why in Japan of all places?

I can see merits for picking the BMW over any AWD car, including an Audi but if your reasoning is it's weather then I have questions, because the last time I looked Japan gets a fair amount of rain as well as sunshine, this may be why all their own homegrown sporty saloons are equipped with AWD.

well, in terms of flexibility, the wagon is going to offer you easier access to the back, and will fit more items. Plus, the S4 avant is stylish-in my opinion-offers great power, but the fuel economy sucks. Don't expect a better handling car than the 335. It is heavy, yet it has great traction.
