Inception
Saw it tonight, absolutely loved the entire movie. What did you people think about it?

Damn I've been looking forward to seeing it but didn't get a chance. It's one of those movies that you know is gonna be great. Besides, Leonardo can own a role like no other.

Extremely good movie... maybe a little TOO thought provoking... I like thought provoking movies, but there were so many deliberate loopholes and whatnot....
There's one particular question I have that I still can't quite understand, but it'd be a semi spoiler so I won't ask |

I didn't like it, actually. I liked the concept of inception and the issues of blurred reality, but that movie was just way too unnecessarily hard to follow. You cannot connect with your audience if you spend the whole (LONG) movie trying to fool them. That problem coupled with the slew of film school gimmicks just took the whole movie out to pasture for me.
Cast was great, though. Last edited by PINeely; 07-18-2010 at 02:23 PM.. |

It was a little long but I loved it. Great movie, best film I've seen all year (add Get Him to the Greek to that list as well).
IMAX is the way to see this thing

Saw it this past weekend. AWESOME movie definitely in my top 5 movies of all time. All of the elements were great and Leo owned as usual.

Definitely not one of the "top 5 movies of all time" but it was very, very good. If I had to find a week spot it would be Ellen Page. I don't think she was the right choice for the role but I thought it was otherwise perfectly cast. How weird does Tom Beringer look? It's like he just got stung by a swarm of bees. I hope he gets picked up for more movies because he would make a great villain.

Saw it yesterday. It was long but it needed to be. Lots of twists, and it made sense for the most part. I think everyone is talking about the ending, and what it ment, and it was ment to make you wonder. It could be a setup for a sequal, but to be honest your first thought is likely the right one. The answer to me is yes they were still...and that is what the very last scene tell us.

There will not be a sequel and I don't even think it was left open. Pretty cut-and-dry if you ask me.
