dilemma....need 2nd car
so here's the deal. I own an 06 330i and an 04 A4 avant. I just picked up the avant last year, and it has been in the shop more times than I can remember. In addition to that, it sucks in the snow (maybe I have a lemon?).
so the long and the short of it is that I have sold the avant and now need another 2nd vehicle. My 330i lease is up in about a year or so, and at that point I am going to get an X5. We have one kid (2) and another on the way. I don't want to blow my brains out on a 2nd car as the X5 is going to be more expensive than the 330i on a monthly payment. I have narrowed down my selection to two choices (car has to be auto...wife) 1. 2007 Nissan Altima SE V6 w/ CVT 2. 2007 VW GTI (5 door) w/ DSG I have driven the altima, and it's not bad....but I am so spoiled by the RWD bimmer that driving a front driver kind of sucks (plus the example we drove exhibited a lot of torque steer). The GTI is nice...not the best looking, but has a lot of utility for baby gear etc... what would you choose and why? TIA

gti...fun car to drive, easy to park and manouver around traffic, sleeper, sporty.
It looks like ur gonna lease the car which also means reliability is out of the question. If u dont need a big car, go for gti. stick with euro

i did check the camry out...nice...but I am leasing and here in canada the residuals on toyota leases are ridiculous. i.e. the camry's residual is 42% based on a 3 year lease term....thus monthly payments are significantly higher for a 'similar' car
