Gas price has gone down....

Gasoline prices went down 3 cents today at my local gas station.....
I only paid $3.12 for premium unleaded.
I filled her up for only $48.36!

Not bad, right?

That sounds good, we will be heading down Southern Cal in a few weeks (Disneyland). Prices in the Bay Area are still around $3.25.

Here too, it's down about 10 cents. Regular was up to $3.20, now it's down to $3.10. So premium here is about $3.30, but I'm sure you could find it somewhere for $3.20, I just lived in an expensive ripoff area.

Funny how the threat of legislated controls on the "free market" stiffled opportunistic greed.

Not in the bimmer. Think I'm crazy? 87 goes in the Civic. Premium is still about $3.09 in the part of the city I'm in.

3.52 in maryland for premium. It used to be about 20-30 cents below west coast prices.

2005 thread is from 2005.

I admire the efficiency, though, and the clear and obvious pro use of the necro-search feature.

Craziness here. I filled up yesterday when regular was $3.34. Two hours later it dropped to $3.24 and stayed there until this afternoon when it jumped back to $3.35. So in 24 hours it dropped 10 cents and then rose 11 cents. Lunacy.

I fill up with premium, of course, but the price fluctuation was the same on the high end.

Californians should enjoy the price drop now - the new carbon tax kicks in January 2015, and will add $.20-$1.30/gallon, per CARB:
