Yes I have experience with a state trooper.

He was a fucking asshole. On a two lane highway at night without any lights on doing 40 in the right hand lane. I came up on him at about 77 I think in a 65.

Fucking idiot thinks he can just break the law and endanger the public. I would've brought these two facts up to him, but I didn't want to get busted for illegal tint and no front license plate.

Who's watching the police? Nobody, I tell you.

hmm... i feel like being a state trooper would be boring. dont most of them go on patrol alone? well thats what i have noticed in the NY/NJ area which i frequent. same thing up here in canada. city cops get more action. at least youre not just catching speeders and attending to accidents all the time. plus city cops almost always patrol in pairs. keeps things more interesting i think.

Awesome movie ! Ohio troopers need to watch that movie more often. they also need to ground their damn aerial traffic enforcement, purely about money and not about safety.

OT... but Chewy, do you work at the Clinic? I think I've seen your ride parked on Cedar by E.100th or so. Brave man for leaving such a nice car in that neighborhood not in a patroled lot.

training for state police is no walk in the park. It depends on the state you want to be a trooper for. A lot of former marines become troopers but no worries us fellow big ole green machine folk also do law enforcement lol

lopealle,

Try fielding your question to the folks over on the officer.com forums... I'm sure they could provide much more insight than here.

NJ State Police are outstanding especially their academy.

Yeah, no kidding.

Dude, you stalking me or something?

Yeah, I park on the street sometimes.... the lots there are expensive as hell, and I like to park in front of where the construction workers are, or by the new CCF research building. I agree, it's not very safe, but my options are limited, unfortunately. Sometimes I find a spot and the ghetto start eyeing my car... so then I move it elsewhere. Damn ghetto Cleveland!

Where do you work?
