Calling cool things 'Sex' and 'Tits'
Is anyone else annoyed by this? I read poeple saying it, or hear them and just think, "What a complete twat." I get the mental picture that they have Tourette's.
Guy 1: Hey check out my new rims! Guy 2: tits! Guy 1: <awkward moment with no response> Am I the only one that things calling things that are cool, 'sex' and 'tits', is pretentious? To me, if tits are mentioned they'd better be talking about these.

There are so many things about the way our language is bastardized that its pathetic. At least with tits, you know its good, as opposed to other idioms that leave you guessing

I love saying tits. It's replaced shit in my vocabulary because it's played out and doesn't have the same effect as tits. Like "these aluminum slurpee straws are the tits!"

Never heard of that before but there's just so much slang these days it's kinda scary. If I were to talk to a high school kid right now I would have no idea what he/she's saying. Then those things just kinda get around and everyone starts saying them.

I quit using "tits" and started using "nips." As in: Those rims are the nips.
Because let's be honest, tits are worthless without some nice hershey kiss nips on them. I'm also trying to bring back "the bees knees." It's not catching on as well as I had hoped. |
