you are going to have to keep that thing 30 years in mint condition, because in 5 years all the prices of camaros will drop because nothing but rednecks will have them

It's for my dad...he had a doctors appointment so had me call. He has a ZR1 now, so the Z06 argument is out.

He does this type of thing often...

In that case, by all means go for it

I couldn't see picking a special edition camaro at the price of a z06, but if he already has the ZR1 and is getting the Camaro as a cruiser, that's cool.

I think part of the price on that one was a trip for everyone to pick them up in Germany at the factory.

There were some photos circulating with them all stacked up outside of a restaraunt in Bavaria while the "tour" was pulled over eating lunch or something. Pretty sweet.

My uncle has one and was in Bavaria also, he said it was an amazing expierience one husband and wife bought one each. He still has the car, since 07 it has traveled a whopping 3,500 miles. The Ruby Black is an amazing color.
