Lexus LFA @ My Local Dealer = Ride Along!

So today was one of the coolest days of my life. I was literally THE FIRST on scene after my friend called me up (having heard a rumor that there was an LFA being brought to our local dealer for a fund-raiser showcasing), and I rushed right on over. Sure enough, there it was. BEAUTIFULLY STUNNING! This is one of Lexus' three prototype/showcasing cars. They're famous for traveling all across the globe, being repainted for each show. This time around, it happened to be a dark gray (unfortunately not white), but it was sweet nonetheless

I got to sit in it, start it up, rev it, and even got a 5-minute ride-along. ENJOY!
note: please don't mind the test-driver's index finger. I guess the car was too beastly for him

Well I didn't get to drive it unfortunately, but the ride-along was spectacular

The sounds are just AMAZING. Closest thing to F1 I think. Simply orgasmic.

My dream car. I'd take a Pearl Blue LF-A over any other Ferrari or Lamborghini, regardless of speed.

Absolutely amazing! Funny that the speedo cluster is from the future but I had a better nav screen 3 years ago.

Not if you get a Lamborghini and $200,000 in your bank account instead of an LF-A. But this is the whole point of the LF-A, it just made someone very happy to have been given a ride in one and they wouldn't consider it too much to look at a Lexus for their next car.

If I had $400k though, I'd get a Carrera GT. That's my personal dream car

But I can definitely see the appeal of the LFA. Just a tad bit too much money though

This car is awesome! and I honestly thought about value when I heard about this car, but in reality a car like this isnt about price vs performance, its the rarity factor like the other poster noted. I would imagine the buyers of these cars arent thinking about a couple measly hundred thousand in savings.

They are beyond that point, this is a car for the "wealthy" not just rich. If I recall correctly this car was almost immediately sold out when orders were taken.
