If you could be a professional athlete...
what sport would you play? and why?
if it's a team sport, what position? Consider, salary, life style, length of career, possibilities of injuries, possible career after playing career, work load, physical requirement etc... |

Baseball... longevity is key. But competition is brutal. I am assuming I have already made it and I am a true "professional" athlete not a part-time player. If this is true, there is no comparing any sport to baseball... except being Tiger Woods and playing golf.

F1 hands down, especially after going to the Grand Prix over the summer.
Not only do they get paid shit loads of money to drive really fast without getting any tickets but hot girls flock to them like bees to honey. Lucky bastards! Last edited by ZJP; 11-02-2010 at 07:55 PM.. |

Are we limited to living in the U.S.?
If no = Soccer in England (Man U or Chelsea) If yes = Basketball (Lakers) or Tennis... Last edited by infinitekidM2C; 11-02-2010 at 07:49 PM.. Reason: Lakers |

F that. You always have to be in shape, deal with injuries, constant drug tests, sex scandals and paparazzi.
Rather be a rock star and your life is sex, drugs and rock and roll. Also, you don't lose your prime peak when you hit your 30s. |

i think there would be more risk living that sort of lifestyle. you could OD, get fucked for drug possession charges, become a junky, get some really shitty STD, etc. plus, playing the same songs thousands of times must get old. i'd much rather get paid to play basketball than repeat myself over and over
