Took out the Hydrogen 7 for a ride

What an experience guys, having the honor to take out the V12 Hydrogen 7 some where around in California. Also got to meet Chris Bangle and the guys from BMW. All I can say is, I'm really impressed with Hydrogen technology and I know you guys will be too in the years to come.

Wish I brought a camera, but this is what it looked like!

Cool. I read about it recently, and how BMW is only going to have a handful available to select individuals... the article made it sound exclusive, not like anyone can ask for one. But it'll be awhile before they take off before you can find hydrogen "gas" stations around.

So how was the actual ride? Anything different on the dials? Pick up? Or smooth as a normal car?

it was smooth, i believe the V12 hydrogen had 215 hp and when i gunned it, there was pickup, but not a kickback pickup if you know what i mean. the dials had two gas levels, one for hydrogen and one for regular gas...

there was a design conference i went to, for a "greener world" and the we could test drive the hydrogen vehicles outside if we wanted... V10 VW Toureg Hydrogen, the honda civic hydrogen, and some other cars...

I didn't take a look at the engine because I was in love with the interior of the fully loaded 7. Those things are plush.
