^+1 if they make it a "hybrid" like the 918 I'm all for it. It better still look sexy.

yes thats the hybrid their going for, basically the SC V8 is powering the RW and at a push of a button electric motors power the front wheels.

now i think the styling will resemble the GR1 concept more than the GT90, this car should be a successor of the GT not the GT itself.

Point? That's fine but hey already build some sweet cars. If Porsche called it the Carerra GT I dont think I would like that either. IMO If Government Motors can build the ZR1 why cant Ford build a true supercar GT?? If not call it something else. Its an Iconic car for Ford.

Ford seems to be doing great. The new Mustang GT, especially the Boss is an amazing car for the $$.

I agree that it should and probably will have a different name, but they seem to think hybrid power trains are the future. I personally would prefer better performance/fuel economy by reducing weight.....but that doesn't grab headlines and pacify the smug hybrid loving retards and a-holes. Let's just be happy that they are still interested in building performance cars.

You guys must have never heard of the GR-1 concept that came out back in '05. I'd bet money on the new GT looking nothing like that six year-old concept.

actually shelby owns its names, ford just license the "cobra" or "GT500" name from them. the GR1 was inspired by the Daytona coupe, ford doesn't need to design a hole new super car, they have two perfectly good candidates. of course a update in styling should not go unwelcome .

That is one ugly concept. And I really doubt they'll keep the same wheels from the Ford GT.

They should still go with an Ecoboost V8. BMW is making what, 560hp with their TT 4.4?
