Few Pics from my trip to Taiwan
Hey everyone,
I just got in a few hours ago from my trip to Taiwan. My wife is Chinese and all her family now lives in Taiwan, we spent the last week over there visiting them, checking out some sites and eating a lot. Great trip, flight was 13 hours, oh yeah the flight attendants on the flight from Tokyo to Taipei (I think Japan Asian Airlines) were so much nicer than the ones on Continental..to the point of them being annoying. Would you like Tea, would you like coffee, would you like a beer, it was great! I didn't get any pics of the ladies though, my wife would have killed me. Besides she spent enough time telling me to stop looking at them...oh they were sexy. The Wifey and I I want a scooter now. Still getting over Jet Lag Cute Kid |

Cool. I've been invited to visit your home city for a couple of months at the end of the year. I've only heard good things about the people, culture and food. Are there any good roads to drive you might recommend?
Thanks for the photos. K. |

i have travelled alot, and have noticed that all the asian airlines are nicer then the ones on american owned airlines (nothing against you americans, cos i am half american too )... i have been all 3 classes internationally, and asian airlines take teh cake although it WAS great to get back on an aussie airline, was so comfortable after being on the go for 8 weeks at a time!

yea, i take Japan airlines too, but i go to Hong Kong instead of Taipei, on returning flights from Tokyo to Vancouver, i always get upgraded to first class too, and the service there is even better, you can drink all the japanese beer (sorry, no Budweiser), french wines you want...lol!!

I'd love to go to Asia as a trip sometime but being a tall white guy(like the OP) I'm at odds cuz I don't have a cute asian wifey haha. It just looks and gives the impression of an intimidating place to visit without someone who knows the area or even the language.
On another note, it's always fun visiting a place with someone who knows their way around. It almost doesn't even feel like a vacation in a way. Kinda like when I visit NYC. My dad's from the area so I went there so many times growing up so going there almost feels like home. I can navigate myself no problem after getting myself up to speed.
