Your absolute favorite games older than 10 years...(game geeks komm 'rein)

New games are nice with graphics, but there was something about older games that I always get nostalgic for... here's short list and a quick blurb of what I liked:

Illusion of Gaia: There was something dramatic about this game -- the music helped underscore the storyline and really drew the player in. The game was dark in nature which added to its appeal.

Final Fantasy 7: The story line here was wonderfully done and there was always something new happening. Character development was equally as great, and the music score was perfect.

Starsiege Tribes: Great gameplay overall and was one of the better multiplayer games. Map/character customization allowed for endless gameplay.

Is kotor 10 years old yet (I doubt it but it will be best game ever once its 10 years old)

definitely not 10 years old, but i was thinking about that also. That game scared the living day lights out of me when it first came out.

As did expansion pack. and F.E.A.R. All amazing games.

The original SimCity. I remember one of my favorite things to do was bulldoze the churches.... I'm gonna burn in hell for that one!

MechWarrior III. I loved jumping into a Dire Wolf and just fuckin' shit up. It was a slow machine though....

On the arcade consoles, I loved Joust, Robotron 2084 and DigDug (along with the usual PacMan, Defender and Galaga.)

omg seeing some of these game covers brings back so many memories

here are some that will never get old to me

spent so many hours on Sims

this ones 8 years old but there has yet to be a game as fun as rise of nations

OMG! I forgot about Yars Revenge. That game was awesome.

I also still play RollerCoaster Tycoons 1 and 2. I run them on my laptop in class sometimes and somebody asks me what is that? I just turn around and ask, seriously?

Also, in the first flood level in Halo I literally shit my pants when the horde came after you. I was 11 and I had no idea what they were. All I remember is yelling shut shit shit shit shit shit through then entire level.

And don't even get me started about what happened when the flood started shooting back
