WOW! Just saw my first Lexus LFA in person...

These may be more common than I'm aware, but here in Oklahoma, this seems like a big deal. Saw a white Lexus LFA a couple miles from my house today on the way back from my son's soccer game (he's a 5 year old car nut... a real chip off the old block)

Anyway, it was heading west on Danforth as I was headed east. I tried to give my son a heads up, but all I could do was point and drop my jaw. I've never been a Lexus fan, but this thing is stunning.

Anyone else seen one of these in person?

they probably will always be very exclusive cars...they are extraordinarily expensive...

they will never, ever be common

I've seen one here in Atlanta. It was LFA number 3, the first one sold to a customer, ever. The guy had only picked it up like 12 hours before I saw it at a local car meet a few months ago.

I don't care if I get judged for loving a Lexus, but god damn this thing is amazing. Expensive, yes, but awesome in every way.

I'd much rather have the Lambo Aventador, for the price.

I would too, but I doubt there are any of those running around in my neck of the woods. I'd love to see one of those in person as well.

I've seen them only at car shows, not on the road.

There was a thread on here a while back about the first LFA's being delivered in the U.S. and I believe on of them was a white one being delivered to someone in OKC. I bet that's the one you saw.

If I recall, it was owned by someone from the OKC Thunder organization.

EDIT:
Here is it:

Sweet! Thanks for the link! That has to be the one I saw.

I know there is a Chesapeake Exec/partial Thunder owner that lives within a few miles from where I saw the car... could be his?

Always thought it was way overpriced. But I saw a blue one and wow... honestly I don't know. I used to think I would rather have a Lambo or something but they are truly special cars with a lot of presence and class.

Granted, I'm just a Cowboy (not a Sooner) but isn't your roommate's neighbor also your neighbor?
