How about the ones which have nothing to do with E9x's, but are strictly to show off how many expensive cars they lease, like name dropping is in business? (fail) In one post they'll mention the 5 or 6 or 10 100k cars they have in their household, while this is an entry level BMW forum.
Which car should I trade-in, the SLS, S65, 760li, or M5? And this isn't even an M3 forum. |

The "I just filled my 328i with 100 Octane and now it really flies!" threads plus all the lame replies about how too much octane will fry your pistons or other misinformation about octane.

Threads when someone ends up bringing up classes they are in or education/occupations and inserts "engineer" as it just merits their high horse status. A simple class or work alone isnt enough.
OR Guy makes thread of his own car and another guy jumps in and throws in his car to fish for compliments and +1 up the OP. He'll defend himself by saying hes helping but actually his motive was to show off his own....as if his own threads werent good enough already. |

I remember asking some of those questions. Haven't we all when we were newbs? Its inevitable... Only time and lots of researching will people understand enough to figure things out.

What's this ticking sound?
Will these tires fit? Are there any forced induction systems for the N52? Or the ones where people ask stuff that can be answered with a call or email to the company that sells the product they bought.....why don't you ask the freakin vendor? |
