Too slow for me, I didn't think it was that great.

Eh.. everyone has their own opinion so I respect that. I didn't go in expecting an all out action flick. I feel like the cinematography, music, acting all synced well... created a tense mood all the way til the end. I enjoyed it.

I agree, the cinematography/music was good, as well as the violent scenes haha

I expected to see an action movie like the first transporter but it ended up being a drama with not that much driving or violence.

IMO the trailer was misleading like "super 8" where you think it's going to be about an alien but ends up being about kids and friendship.

I've seen artistically done shows, and this isn't one. Unless you get off watching shots taking a full 5 minutes to unfold that only show us a single blink from Ryan Goslin. Plot could be summed up in 2 sentences. Rotten Tomatoe reviewers obviously like to hear themselves talk a lot about nothing. This is a lame flick. Maybe when ur feeling melancholy one night, u can curl up with a torrent of it. Maybe

Amazing movie and shows what the new Arri Alexa can do. People who dont like this movie have some problems. Great film!

Slow and surprisingly violent? I can't stand slow movies and the gf won't like the violence, so I guess we'll wait for the DVD if ever. I did see Contagion and Rise of the Planet of the Apes recently though. They are both quite good and I would recommend them.

That impala sounded like a six speed MT lol. To say the least it was an interesting movie I think you have to be able to appreciate independent film to appreciate this move...

I feel the complete opposite. If you liked it then you must be a psychopath who secretly likes to stomp on people's heads until they smash like a pumpkin. Way too over the top for me. And yes, to the post above do not bring your gf/wife. She will probably become ill and not put out afterwards. Bring her to the Lion King 3-D instead and then have some romantic disney sex

Lol..different strokes for different folks. I guess you really have to appreciate the subtlety of a movie to like such a movie... it's not a summer blockbuster action film. If you want that.. go rent Fast Five lol. The tension created throughout the movie is impressive to say the least. The brutal violence was necessary to contrast the characters nature.

So to those who didnt like it. Do you like Taxi Driver? No Country for Old Men? History of Violence? Collateral?

Haha it sure sounded good though! The 300C keeping up with the 5.0 Mustang was little bit of a stretch...

I thought the movie, but I'm sure I'd also agree on the bait and switch. Didn't see a single trailer/preview until I saw the movie, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Watching the trailers I can see how you'd be disappointed

I'd agree with you on Taxi Driver and No Country. But I'd say its on the level of the latter two.
