2012 Audi TT-RS

I was just browsing on the net and came across the 2012 Audi TT-RS and totally fell in love with that car. I would totally love to own that car as a "fun" weekend car even tho our cars are totally "fun" as well. What do you guys think about the 2012 Audi TT-RS?

Quick Specs:
Base price - Around 56-60k
2.5 I5 Turbo
360hp 343 lb torque
0-60 in 4.1

Sorry if this is a repost

Awesome car in my opinion. The US version has a base price around 56k I believe. 6mt only. That 0-60 of 3.6 was done with the dsg transmission which is not available in the us, 6mt 0-60 is around 4.1 which is not too shabby. The engine is pretty awesome, love the turbo 5 cylinder, it sounds amazing. Very quick and capable car and for the price there aren't too many other cars that can compete. If I was in the market for a weekend car, I would be hard pressed not to choose this one. I would even use it as an everyday car if my lifestyle allowed it.

Fixed my specs! Man I wish I could have it as a daily but up here in Michigan we see some brutal snow storms which is why I drive an XI, and I can tell you this much my car is amazing in the snow (last year I ran with runflats, this year will be the continental dws) but the TT-RS is awd i believe but I cant really drive it all year around because of how low the car sits even if its awd. But yeah man, amazing car for the weekend and 2 people trip (in my case Toronto or Chicago both about 250-300 miles away) gas mileage isnt too bad either, just a tad bit less then what we get in our cars, but its a perfect little weekend fun car!

It's such a sexy car. Raced against my friends last weekend. Several runs. We were dead even to 70 and by 150 I had about 4 lengths on him. The exhaust is mean!

Oh wow, I thought the TTRS would take the 335 at the top end! I guess not, have you driven your friends TTRS, how is it compared to the handling of the E9X?

Thats weird my S5 would hold my friends 335i better than that. I'm skeptical about these results, no offense.

Edit. Saw you were tuned.

A tuned 335 definitely has more uptop than a stock TT-RS. I am waiting for him to get his tune so we can see the differences. Im sure he will win. I have not driven his yet but he completely out handles me, every time we would exit a turn he would pull on me as I struggled for grip in the rear.

Love the S5 but could not wait any longer for the 3.0T in the coupe. I've been an Audi guy for over 12 years starting with my 01 S4 with K04's, FBO's and fueling.

For what it's worth, I had a FWD TT roadster I used as a daily driver in Chicago. It sure did better than my BMWs have in the snow. I assume the RS, despite sitting lower, would do even better with its Quattro.
