Young people are dumb. (I was)
When I was 16 I used to drive out to the casino with a 40oz of mickeys in my lap, toss it out the sunroof when i finished... grab more... race around, I can't believe I did that, or that I am alive... even the thought scares the poo out of me, is it just me or are all young people like that?

When I was young I used to go out to Loxahatchee and feed the alligators marshmallows. I also shot lizards with my bb gun and burned ants with my super magnifying glass death ray. I also played uni-bomber with fire ants after forth of July.

Must have been invinceable, as much as I drank and drove back in the day. Wasn't even a concern about DUI then. Most of my friends thought my car (70 Cougar) was run on rocket fuel as fast as it went.
Now that I'm 40, 2 beers and I give the key to the wife (and have a few more). |

Yea I did crazy shit when I was younger but I saved it for the track or an empty parking lot. I think that its the parents job to show the correct path and hopefully the kid has enough common freaking sense to see that path as well as have enough respect for their parents.
Driving like a dumb ass is not justified for anyone. If a drunk kid hit me I would beat him sensless and make it look like the airbag did it!!! he would learn then that drunk driving kills. I am so for harsher punishment on drunk driving! I pass the keys to my girl when I drink I would expect everyone else to do the same. |

Well, I'm 16, and I wouldn't say I'm that crazy.
I look down on stupid kids who do stupid things.

Its natural for kids to live a little more "exciting" than older people, but that doesn't mean we should be living recklessly and without regard for anything else.

When I was 17, freshman at a university, and was at orientation week, I decided to rush a fraternity... Having never met this one active of the fraternity, I drank 21 shots of vodka to celebrate his 21st birthday. What a dumbass I was!!! Never heard of alcohol poisoning back then *sigh*...
