Just trying to think of something for my dad for fathers day, just seeing what you guys were doing...

I'll be here for the car show on Saturday, Father's Day weekend.

Sunday will probably be visiting with the in-laws. That's a Father's Day that's not for me.

He did nothing. He and mom divorced when I was four years old. I have seen him rarely since then, just when he is passing through town. He lives something like 700 miles away and I don't really know him.

My dad is in the grave yard, but the dear old spouse will get quality time with the kids, I'll take off for the day. That's my thanks for remembering mothers day. I'll be sure to leave empty bags for the hoover behind me.

Unfortunately won't be able to head home for fathers day. Father is an awesome guy, so rightfully I'd like to get him something nice this year, but I have no idea what to get him.

He's a simpleton. So maybe I'll just get him a nice bottle of Cabernet or something.
