Photo Tour of MeilenWerk - Stuttgart
MeilenWerk - Stuttgart Wolfgang-Brumme-Allee 55 71034 Böblingen Germany Directions: Böblingen exit off the A81 autobahn. The Meilenwerk is just South on the A81 Autobahn where the A81 and A8 cross. Hours Open: Monday thru Sat: 8.00 – 20.00 Uhr Sundays & Holidays: 10.00 – 20.00 Uhr Tel: +49 (0) 172 / 70 55 833 Tel: +49 (0) 7031/ 30 69 4-0 Fax: +49 (0) 7031 / 30 69 4-72 http://www.meilenwerk.com/ V 8 Hotel in Meilenwerk Suttgart http://www.v8hotel.de/index.php?id=8...ww.v8hotel.de/ V8 Hotel: with automotive themed/decor rooms. Room prices range from 130 euros to 185 euros. The building was built in the 1930's and has a very classic art deco look to it. This is one hotel unlike any you have stayed in with very unique styled rooms! The MeilenWerk Stuttgart (located in Böblingen, just South of Stuttgart - just South on the A81 where it crosses the A8) is a living , breathing car museum! One part hotel, one part restaurant, and one (huge) part a living auto museum and used car dealership! The cars on display are ever changing - no two visits will be alike. Most of the cars here you will find are for sale. Some you can rent by the hour or day. It just boggles my car loving mind walking around this place! And the best part is that anyone can come inside and a look around! Entry is FREE! I mean how cool is that! MeilenWerk roughly translates to "Mile Factory". This place was a military airfield built before WWII. After the war the US Army used it as an airfield and tank overhauling center. In fact they had a small homage to the old shop. Some come to look. Some come to pick up pride and joy for a day/evening's drive. Some come to eat or sleep. And some come to buy. And there are also quite a few shops scattered around this place. There was a mini Ferrari dealer and Maseratti dealer. Bentley and Lambo dealer. And a few classic car used car dealers too. And a few car detailing shops or course. And even a micro beer brewery! Gotta hand it to those crazy Germans! There will be four Meilenwerk's setup in Germany. For now there are three: Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Stuttgart. One Hamburg is under plans. Also one in Zurich, Swizerland and plans to develop this concept thruout Europe. Was that an FXX or an Enzo with white accents? This place looks like a must see for a car person.

I believe it's a "standard" Enzo with some kind of accents

They have MANY cars available to rent. I counted at least 25 cars on their website. You can rent them for just a few (15)minutes, or by the hour or by the day. They even rent out old buses and catering trucks and even an the worlds longest (checker'd) taxi! http://www.hubraum-cars.de/vermietung.htm Some rental specials... Alfa 8C for 89 euros for 15min, Ferrari 328GTS for 59 euros for 15 min, and 69 euros for an Audi R8 for 15 min. Quote:
So who knows more about that white 3.0L CSL with all the signatures over it!?!? Who's signatures are those??? Dack |
