Buy a Car Condo

Do not have room to build your own place for your cars well you could buy into this.

Manager of some corporate level stuff I'm sure. They are based very near there and a lot of the people that work there are paid fairly well. Guess it's good to be the upscale Walmart.

it definitely looks like a babybooms thing, most everyone I saw in the video who had cars there were well past their 50's. I am not sure this is something that can be done everywhere. Not sure towns and such would appreciate cars nuts setting up places like this especially in areas of high population density.

About 10yrs ago I had an almost similar idea, my was to buy an old mechanic shop like Midas or jiffy lube shop and set it up as a time share where a bunch of people would buy time into using the shop to work on their cars. I could not get enough people interested and the liability insurance was way too high. Something about stupid people doing stupid things that could hurt themselves or others. I guess it is okay if someone drops a car on themselves in their driveway, but it is another thing if they do it in a shop.

I wonder if these people are precluded from actually working on their cars at this place other than waxing them.

If the condo falls under the codes of an actual home/condo, I'd imagine they can do what they please. I bet they have bathrooms and perhaps small living quarters. Maybe even a small kitchen. That may circumvent the higher liability premiums. These pods are essentially condos.
