Well whats better is I posted just as I was leaving to go order, annnd I get there and the place closed early for the holiday weekend

The diamond is a family heirloom, it was my great-grandma's, my grandma's and my mom's on their engagement rings. It's at least 60+ y/o and is a solid carat princess cut that is just about completely pure. My dad had it appraised back in 1981 and it was something like a 13K diamond.

It's going to be set to a white gold band with smaller diamonds going half way down each side of the band and has a matching interlocking wedding band. The diamond is actually slightly off center so that when you match the wedding band to it the diamond will sit almost center to the 2 bands making it look like 1.

She fuckin better be. She knows shes getting that diamond and we already discussed that if anything were to happen, that that diamond is coming back no matter what. I don't care if her finger is still attached at the time.

My mom told me to use it a couple weeks before she passed so it def. means a lot to me.
