Who is a pilot?

Noticed quite a few professional and recreational pilots on this board.

I still have to take my check ride, should be done in the next month.

Been spending most of my time in c172, c182, and a 46' champ.

With a name like TACA A320 I would think you had an ATP.

Yep. PPL SEL MEL.

Got too caught up in fucking around flying building time, the flight school went out of business before I could get Instrument/Commercial.

I run one of the largest Avionics shops on the west coast of FL, one of the largest Garmin panel mount dealers in the country.

How much does a top of the line GPS system cost that you would sell?

I was a pilot, flew 172N but quit due to my color blindness and not being able to obtain my IFR rating. No point in making A career out of it . I haven't flown for 5 years now but I will again soon . I am a non-destructive inspector here in Canada and make waaaaaay more money than I would have as a pilot anyway. Still aviation is in my blood and still look up the sky with such intensity and joy hoping that I'll be able to buy a 152 soon and just fly as a hobby no greater feeling than flying at 10,000 feet with such grace and serenity

King Air 350 and Pilatus PC-12NG for a corporation in Denver. I see you're in CHS. I used to fly for US Airways Express in and out of there and always enjoyed watching you guys do landing practice on 21/3, especially with when you did max perf. ones and used the reverse thrust to backup so you could turn off at Foxtrot. What an awesome aircraft!

I haven't gotten a chance to do that yet. I'm in between graduating pilot training and getting qual'd on the 17 in Oklahoma. But I'll be sure to keep it in mind when I arrive.

Nice. Congrats! Getting through UPT is a milestone for sure. Are you active or reserve? Have you spent much time in Charleston? It's definitely one of my favorite towns in the south.
