F-Series only. E-series have too different architecture and all of them are leaving the market pretty soon, so no reason to invest.

The new nav and iDrive updates won't be coming to any E-series models, only F01 and up.

REALLY glad to see the new unit utilizing a powerful Intel chip. Only wish my 2013 M3 would come with it, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a retrofit.

Since E-models aren't supported, does this also mean that BMW Apps for E models probably will not be seeing any additional updates, and truly is a waste of $200?

does not include new i-drove controller...why tease us one bit at a time?!
It's like when the rolled out CIC, and the outgoing M6 got the CIC controller but still had CCC software. |
