Yup, looks like the Ford Explorer. It's not a bad thing, but I guess the plans on this were already settled while Ford still owned them hence the similarities.

I like the new front end even if it is like the Explorer. I prefer the current interior though since this new one seems a bit too plain and more of a fashion statement than anything else.

Yeah, the weight loss is very impressive. Of course hasn't LR been sticking weights in the bumpers to avoid EPA testing for years? I know they claim to have changed to an aluminum chassis, but how much of the weight loss is just taking out the artificial weight?
