2008 335i vs 2008 Infiniti G37
I just saw the press release on the new G37. Forgive me if this is old news. It can be seen here http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/01/p...art-at-34-250/ So, it looks like BMW will have to up their HP for the
'08 335i if they wish to compete. The price is much nicer too but then again you are getting an Infiniti and not a BMW. What are your thoughts? |

I'm glad you posted this because it was only the 6.023 X 10 to the 23rd time it was mentioned...

this topic has been beaten to death over and over and over before but for the sake of it here is my opinion:
Who cares about the HP?!?!? The G37 is still slower than the 335i. Oh and let's not forget about Procede. I guess if they really wanted to, the G37 owners can add a turbo kit later down the road but if they were to do that, they might as well bought a 335 in the first place since it's gonna end up costing about the same. IMO BMW's got nothing to fear. |

Sorry if this is a I wouldn't get the G37 over the 335i any day. I was just hoping that maybe this would push BMW to add a little more HP. The consumer always wins when there is compition. Anyway, here to hoping. Again, sorry if this topic has been discussed to death.

Why would they have to add more HP to the 335i? it's already faster than the G37... If you were asking for something more logical, ask them to lower the prices on the 335i, cause 55K fully loaded for a 3 series is

It was clearly shown that the RWHP (after the Dyno) of the 335 was the same as of the g37, and the 335 is also lighter, therefore... So, 3.7L vs. 3L, 330 HP vs. 300 HP and...they came up short again... Oh, I forgot, do they have the HF Fuel Pump in the g37 and RFTs? |
