Its tax time

Time for the gov't to give me back the shit I earned last year, or most of it.

Question; single or joint, wife just started at the end of the year nov and did not make a substantial amount. Single or Joint, she is also foreign but has a SSN as of last year.

The option is for people who are single.

Your options for marriage are joint or married filing separately. If she had no income (or little income) go with joint. Your limits on deductions will be much higher than if you filed separately or as single (which you can't even do).

Good news

So I have her tax form, my tax form, my stock losses, and interest gained on my savings accounts and such. That is a lot of stuff, is turbo tax very user friendly or should I stick with tax slayer? I would like something that is easy to understand and use.

Been using www.taxact.com for my friends returns for past 3 years. Pretty straightforward.
