Is anyone here tired of Apple always upgrading their iPod line? I know they're trying to keep up with the times but how long ago was the last iPod nano introduced?

New iPod

I'm still on the 4th generation iPod and the 1st generation iPod nano. I think they could add all these features on one iPod but it seems they're doing this in pieces.

I completely lost track on what generation this iPod is now? I think it's just way too much. In my opinion...I'm getting a little tired of the iPod.

I'll upgrade when this one breaks.

Well...my brother has a Zune and it's pretty darn cool! Bigger then the iPod though but it's already got features that took the iPod 10 generations to get added.

the ipod touch looks good..... exactly what i want.

basically, an iphone with no phone feature.

I like my existing iPod, but I also like some of the new features of the iPhone. Unlike Microsoft, Apple just doesn't add bug fixes, plus bells and whistles that make their systems more difficult to use.

I have two ipods. a 30gig Video and a 4gig i believe newest nano.

until apple has the same touchscreen for the ipods, i am not buying a new one.

Also 8gig iphone is only $400 now. Knew a price drop was coming.

I hear the government is getting involved and trying to have Apple compensate for everyone who bought the phone at full price. I mean it's been about a month or two since the iPhone came out and all of a sudden to do a price drop. That's just F'd up!

C'mon...if you're going to keep adding features to the iPod get it right the first time. You all know they can include all the necessary and cool features in one shot. They're just doing this because they can.

Yeah, I have the 30gb color photo iPod (about two years old), and a month after I bought it they came out with the black one.

I'll upgrade once mine breaks, or when I fill all 30gb.

The Zune is bigger than a Nano but not bigger than an iPod video. I compared by Zune to my friends Ipod. I love the Zune. Works great and the outer case is durable. I have dropped it a few times, not a scratch on it.

Where did you hear this? There are price drops everyday for items. Granted not usually items like this. But what about the peopel who bought PS3's and then find out that their model became cheaper?

Sure the people who bought it first are getting the short end of the stick. But they did get to have the iphone first and use it first. You gotta pay to have what others dont.

I have no sympathy for anyone who slept on a street or waited in line for hours to be the first to get the iPhone. If anything I think anyone who did that needs their head examined. I admit it's shitty of Apple to drop it so soon but if you have to be the first to have the newest thing, this is sometimes the price you pay. Suck it up!! Apple is about making $$ like any other company.
