Im a small business owner with a basic one page site. A friend of mine gave me this link http://freesitetemplates.com/, and i like a lot of the website they have...

My question is, if i purchase one of these can i change the pictures and will it be difficult?

Any help will be appreciated, i dont know much about websites and computer stuff.....

If you have a one page site I can help you out with that in an hour (if you have all of the info ready). I don't know how easy it would be with the template site. I guess it depends on your computer savvy. Do you have a current website?

Hmmm, well, how many pages are you thinking? I don't know very much about template sites but if you are getting a full flash site for $50, that might be your best bet. Not that I can't do it, but I can't do it for $50. If you decide to go with that and need any help let me know and i'll do my best to answer your questions or help you out with your images.

I do web design ... but not for hire (as I do it for some of my own side business like: www.ModifiedGuide.com ) ... I just wanted to make a recommendation and Im sure most other will agree with me.

Steer clear of flash ... although cool looking and music is fun ... a lot of people dont like dealing with load times and it will create your bounce rate to go up.(meaning if you cant grab the users attention and your page doesnt load with in the first 5sec ... they will click out of your page)On top of it google and other search engines will not index flash pages as well as a regular html or dynamic page (.php, .aspx, ect.) Yea hardcore flash guys will say it works fine as the newer versions of flash you can add key words in and embed stuff ... but over all it never works as good as basic html or dynamic pages.

Also be sure to use key words, and the tittle tag to help with search engines ..For the title tag be sure to put in what ever your company does ... for example, if your selling wheels ...

Insted of this:

Wheels Plus (your company name)

Do this:

Wheels Plus - Performance Wheels and Accessories

I know it seems simple but its often over looked and google really uses the title tag a lot in indexing

Also a good submit program works wonders ... I personally use www.mycomputer.com and have found it to work great.
