We are here live from the 2013 Auto Shanghai show where the highlight of the BMW display is the BMW Concept X4 [full gallery], but there are other highlights and (Asian) debuts at the show.

I can't be the only one thinking that BMW's model line is getting a bit bloated. I mean a 3 series gran coupe? Really?

The 4 series goes into production in September right after the factory is re-tooled in August. You'll have all the details long before the Frankfurt auto show.

September of this year. The IAA is held every other year in Frankfurt. I will be there in September!

How about the new X5? Goes in to production this August and have not seen it yet other than camo spy shots and renderings!

Ahh, how did BimmerPost enjoy Shanghai? Hope you were impressed by the scale of the BMW stand, it is second to the IAA hall in terms of a global display for the BMW brand.

The question I have to ask is how many 5er GTs have you seen publicly and at once? We are here to not only participate at AutoChina but for commercial shoot with the i3.

Disappointing that the F32 didn't make its unveil. But it probably should make its debut in its home country.

Scott, any chance of a non-production based concept coming this year to show us where BMW design is going with the G code cars? Or is it pretty much the same language as the F cars. Also, I am getting tired of looking at the same concepts over and over again.

Shanghai caps off the 2012/2013 auto show season. It is not usually the place for big launches like those.

The F32 should be revealed in the off season, the F80 should show up in Frankfurt, and the F22 should be in Geneva.

I would also expect F10 LCI info any time now.

F33 and F23 coming next season too.
