if you like chinese food... there are a few top tier restaurants in the san gabriel valley like 888, sam woo, and nbc. depending on what you order it can get very pricey. (e.g. $300+ for a king crab or roasted whole hog)

Spago Cafe Primo And some chains that are always good: Flemings Ruth's Chris I feel like there are obviously quite a bit more... but those are the first that come to mind

what kind of food does that get? sushi i've had just about everything aside from blowfish and it seems like a good hole-in-the-wall is as good as anything
