Which looks better, A5 LEDs or M3s Rings?
I can't decide what I think of the LEDs on the Audi A5. They seem a bit too bright compared to the soft rings that BMWs lights have.
Here is a great photo of the LEDs I am talking about (more photos in link): http://www.a5oc.com/forums/showthrea...218/index.html The BMW rings we all know well. What do you think? |

Wonder how it would look if they were paired together, any one have the time to photoshop some angel eyes on that A5?

I think people will have to get used to the LED's once they come out. For the angel eyes...almost everyone knows it's a bmw when they see it behind them. I would have to say angel eyes for me.

+1 Still, we all associate the angel eyes with BMW and I wouldn't want them to change to something else.
This thread is worthless without a poll.

I wish they hadn't put them on the A4/A5. It was bound to become an S/RS trademark. But even as is, the LEDs look amazing. I think if the rings werent so yellow, they'd look better (think your E39 540 rings). LEDs for the win

I also agree the BMW rings would look better if they weren't so yellow; but the LEDs win on looks.

Saw the LEDs on an new S6 and I like them but would take the E93 M3 rings over the LEDs though coz I think the BMW is a more balanced car.

I like the lights on the Audi because they're something new and unique.
We've all seen BMW's ring lights for a long time now. Last edited by ik999; 10-04-2007 at 12:22 PM.. |

The LEDs look mean and in character. I think its a nice styling trademark on the part of Audi. I wonder what MB will have in response to Audi's and BMW's signature lightings.

I don't like how the LEDs curve up on the outside but they definately win on brightness
