Buying used M cars
Thought I would post it here because there is most people here and not really sure exactly where to put it.
Has anyone dealt with http://enthusiastauto.com ??? Their prices seem fair vs local prices and the condition and milage also looks good. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well let me rephrase. Not exactly the greatest price but compared to what I have seen locally and the condition of local sales... it seems a lot better.
Local cars are almost if not x2 the miles, same price, and worse condition... Where do you guys find good condition used cars....

They offer top/good examples of M's.
The only thing i don't like is, they don't offer financing. You have to find/come up with the loot.

They only buy the nicest M cars you can imagine. But you're gonna pay for it.
They have a very knowledgeable staff as well.

I have a customer that has bought three z3m coupes from them and every single one has been flawless. Low mileage, excellent condition and easy transactions. Great guys to deal with as well!

Their pricing for e30 m3s is way higher than what you can get elsewhere
They simply buy the good ones and mark them up big time and offer them for sale Not sure about the the other models

I would not say the "simply buy good ones and mark them up big time" - I recently reached out for a feeler bid for my Z4m. Anything that wasn't perfect, they were going to make it perfect. They really value top-notch stock collectors cars. I would buy from them with more coincidence than most other dealers.

As others pointed out, they are marking the cars way up. Knowing that many M cars are beat on or raced, it make it easy for them pay for a perfect example and they charge what every they like since they know someone will pay that for a perfect car. If you not a gear head do you really want to buy a used M car off some stranger and hopes it runs well and does not have some serious issues.
You do not buy a used performance sport car unless you know what you are doing with cars of you have lots of money to pay others to fix it up for you. This company provides a service to those who have more money than time and want a nice performance car. |
