Heres a discussion about the options of E92 and G37, good things, bad things, interior, exterior..etc. For example, G37 comes with a harddrive, e92 doesn't...

Holy crap the Infinti doesnt have a warranty?!?!

My advice is to drive both cars and see which one you like better. Do people not do that anymore?

E92 > G37

for power.... the inside of the g is too crowded as many have said.. When I saw it in person.. it look cluttered.. You can't beat the sleek inside of the beamer.

I agree the E92 > G37 in exterior and interior, but let's not talk about the looks, I know we all know that the E92 looks better and drives better. But lets talk about the options.

Is it true that the G35 does not have an aux jack? That's what that mag who stated "The King is Dead" said on their long term test. If it's true, how could they blunder like that? Even a Camry has had an aux jack for 2 years.

Anyway, the G37 is definitely worth looking at if everything is about value and money. But I've never heard of a junior high or hs'er saying, "When I grow up, I want to drive an Infiniti." That comes later in life when one examines their finances and realizes that compromises have to be made.

CF aka Compact Flash.. I'm guessing its like a flash drive you can bring and pull out to store data on the hard drive of the car. They sell them on newegg or any computer store fairly cheap and hold up to 1gig (if not more now) of data.. so between music, pics and all that good stuff...

Outside of the navigation differences (...touch screen, real-time traffic updates, etc.), the CF slot, hard drive, and audio L/R/Video jacks in the center armrest, everything else can be had in a 3-series. What the G37 has over the 3-series isn't enough to consider swaying me in the direction of the Infiniti, especially since the on-road dynamic is lacking when compared to the 3-series.

The first part of my paragraph touched on some of the good things, but the bad things include, but are not limited to:
  • cramped interior space
  • very little trunk space (..it's the same as the G35)
  • lots of vibration from the motor/transmission transmitted into the cabin

the old G35 coupe had a personality, where the new one is trying to be like the old G. In my books this is a BIG NO-NO

The new G37 looks cheesy to me
