Certificate of Authenticity for BMW? (pic)

Does anyone know if BMW offers a Certificate of Authenticity similar to Porsche or Volkswagen? Porsche offers a Cert. of Auth. and Volkswagen offers a Birth Record? In addition to the original window sticker, it can be an essential tool for restoration, resale and display at BMW events.

Would be cool, but then I am not aware of a large amount of Counterfeit BMWs being built. There isn't any collector value to most of our cars either so I am not sure what the point is.

Reminds me a of something from the Franklin mint, "Issued with this genuine Certificate of Authenticity!" "Proof that this machine was built in Bavaria and is legal tender in Liberia!"

There's no point. Porche only does that to make it seem more exclusive.

They do or used to sell it on BMW online store site. Browse there. It should mirror the attached Porsche example including born on date. They would need your VIN.

I honestly do not think its worth the money at all...
