Ross Brawn to part company with Mercedes

Swapping Brawn as team principle for a team run by committee is about the worst outcome for next years hopes of winning the WC. Too many fingers never works.
Toto will probably get his wife a race seat next!

Not sure why they would get rid of him.

I honestly think Paddy Lowe would not be a bad replacement.

It was inevitable.

Too many chiefs, not enough indians.

Very interesting to see what happens now.

....and this is the difference between a car company running an F1 team and a racing company running an F1 team.

MB fans, brace yourselves. It's probably not going to be pretty.

Seemed to make perfect sense when I wrote that!!

Since then Toto has become my favourite Team Principle.

Don't feel too badly about this. My head was about to pop off when I first heard this. The final straw was hiring Paddy Lowe.

Luckily I have been eating a steady diet of crow on this and I will welcome eating more. The only problem that I have is wondering what will happen if Ferrari and the rest claw back performance relative to the WO7 and strategy becomes important, once again. I am not entirely convinced that the committee approach will work in tight competition.

Cheers-mk
