1 Series Tii?? They won't call it the M1 so I guess thats the name.
This may be a repost but damn I think this ride is HOT. If they bring this bad boy over to the states with an LSD then I'm sold. Maybe I'm a traitor but goodbye to the e90...

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Perfect. Back to the REAL BMWs of old and not the overweight pigs we drive today (though it would still be on the heavy side). Styling is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
I didn't see anything about engines, would it have the 135 engine or would they give it the old or perhaps new M3 engine I wonder?

Oh...my god. That thing is NICE! That's definitely the first hot looking 1er I've seen. I think the best shot are from the rear 3/4 and the profile. That spoiler is perfect. Not a big fan of the rocker panels though...

Yeah but relatively it is light. Well, it would be the lightest in the current lineup at least. Truly light cars are sold under the brand name Lotus, nobody else competes in that regard. Exige S

You are right of course, but unless its a Neon, most cars nowadays arent under 3000lbs. I think with all the stuff in it, a 335 weighing 3300-3400lbs is pretty good. The fact the 135 being only 80lbs lighter is the real joke.

I think the Mazdaspeed3 weighs something like 2700 pounds but it's FWD :sad0147: Yeah only 80 pounds? BMW needs to do something about that. I suppose modern safety and chassis rigidity can only come from engineering so much then it's just added material and weight.

I think it looks really good. Get rid of the stripes, and alter the wheel package, and that's a hot 'lil BMW. I really like the side profile too. The only thing that seems out of place are the headlights.

http://content.bmwusa.com/microsite/..._catalogue.pdf http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/3/335icoupe/techdata.htm ALL US Specs per BMW NA webpage: 135i Manual Listed: 3732 lbs (should be 3372 lbs. Someone did a typo here) 135i Auto List: 3384 lbs 335i Coupe Manual Listed: 3571 lbs 335i Coupe Auto Listed: 3582 lbs Based on the correct auto figure, 135i is just shy of 200lbs lighter than the 335i Coupe Auto. Now if you buy a Euro Spec car then the difference is only 44kg but since I live state side I use US figures. |
