It's probably gonna be overpriced. I'd stick to a Quaife LSD.

I wonder how much it will cost as an option. Somebody in another thread mentioned how the 1-series could potentially spark the club racers. Let's hope so!

I guess I just don't get the hype. The 335i will also have an LSD offered. The price is decent yes, but this 2002 reincarnated talk is ridiculous. This car only weighs 350 lbs less than the 335i?? Both cars are still pigs when compared to the 2002 and even the heavier e30.

Yea, the other thing I found interesting while looking at that was that its shorter and stouter, yet taller. Also, a .03 increase in drag, the range of difference in most production cars is about .08, so that's a lot.

^^ OK so what's all the hype about then? I mean, the 135i will start at 35k, the 335i starts at 40k...for 5k$ there is no way i'd drive that that ugly thing...
If this weighed 3000 lbs I could understand the excitement. But it weighs more than my old 350z, which most people feel is somewhat of a heifer, and it's ugly?? I think this just 'looks' small and people just assume it's light etc, hence the hype. |

The weight on BMW's site is a mistake. There's no way in hell this car is 500 pounds more than the 128i!!
