I'd say 10k, but that's just my ridiculous guess. Maybe 8-9, at least. A local 140k '87 M6 is on sale on CL, for 17k. I might go for it...

It's a beauty. I've been checking prices for E12, and 10K seems reasonable might go higher.

Hmmm. Just checked http://www.mye28.com/ and prices seem a bit lower, but most of the ones there are high miles (but I only looked at a couple ads.) I would post it there, as it's the enthusiast website for them.

That's definitely a collector's car. 10K's giving it away IF there's a full service history, like from when it was "born". If the owner has a FSH of every little thing that's been done to it like, parts replaced, oil changes, regular maintenance items addressed and has been consistent with all these things, you could ask 13-14K. 15's pushing it I think, but it's not impossible. Is the interior flawless?

All around the car is pretty immaculate. We're having a PPI done on Monday 12/2 by:

Looks very nice. Shots of the interior?

Oh, and no one wants auto in e28 world.

12-19k is actually possible based on what has sold in the past year.

Added a couple interior shots. I will add more once I take some new ones.

That thing is pristine! Being that they have likely owned it for a while, I'm guessing they don't need the money that bad. I would start high teens 18-19 for a while (months) someone will likely offer within 5k at the worst at some point.

Just a blind guess, but you never know!

I owned a 1983 533i (also in Black but with red leather) and the wheels seem wrong for that year? Are those wheels OEM and were they a special order? I lived in Denver at the time, and bought there from Murray Motors.

Overall, car looks very good. Have no idea of value.

13,500 obo seems extremely fair and possibly under priced to me, especially if you have all records. Be patient, if I didn't already have an e28 I'd be all over this. And, seriously, has enthusiast auto called yet? You may be at a price point where they'll buy. Give them a call if they haven't contacted you yet.

Check with EAG, they might buy from you or check their website to see if they have that car just to get an idea what they sell for...of course their selling prices are higher than norm

"Are those wheels OEM?"

OEM....yes... original...no.
They're the same style of wheels that were originally fitted on my 1995 540i.
Still a great looking car nonetheless.
