Another BMW Crash - Car split in two!

4 killed, 1 injured in San Clemente crash; alcohol, speed suspected

These things are starting to happen way to often. Everyone thinks it will not happen to them. I'm sure that is what the four people that died last night thought too. Be safe out there and responsible.

City of Valencia is pretty far from Valencia St in San Clemente where this happened. This is a main on-ramp leaving the downtown area where the bars are located.

Two different Cities probably 100 miles apart if not more but it is strange that it was near a street called Valencia and this car hit both a light pole and a tree as well.

It's tragic that families lost their loved ones to something so irresponsible and stupid. That said, I'm not so sure I can feel bad for the people actually involved. Sounds corny, but the "Friends don't let friends drive drunk" thing was coined for a reason. This is a perfect example. Here's a new phrase, "Friends don't get in cars where friends insist on driving while intoxicated". Catch a cab.

From some photos online it appears to be a new 3 series and the paper plates may say "THOMAS" on them.

Steve Thomas is in Camarillo which is about 100 + miles from the accident scene. Steve Thomas sells a lot of cars out here. Not 100% sure that is a ST BMW but I'm sure someone will chime in.

I think you mean expendable

I pretty much have 0 sympathy for drunk drivers and wouldn't mind seeing the world purged of them entirely.

I feel deeply sad for the other 3 innocent victims who lost their lives as well as the injured individual, provided that none of them were drinking and driving (I'm assuming at least 3 of them were passengers).

Although, as someone else mentioned, getting into a car with a drunk driver is not terribly wise, but I don't really know the circumstances other than the fact that at least one shithead drunk driver thankfully lost his or her life.
