BMW e30 325 M technic cabrio
Hey guys, this probably isnt the right place to post this but I want sort of an unbiased opinion (even though everyone here loves bmws). Im looking to buy a car for an investment. Was looking for an E30 M3 cab, realized how freaking rare they are but then I found a white 1992 BMW e30 325 M-Technic Cabrio (cloth seats, full body kit, the real deal).
Car looks like it is in absolute great shape. White on white, leather looks new, has some extra goodies too (remus exhaust). The car is going for sale for about $12.5K and has about 100K miles on it. I think it is a bit expensive but I also know how rare this car is. Thoughts? Opinions?

just spoke to the owner. Had the car since 1996, and in 2009 he did a full conversion to s14 (motor, brake pumps, suspension...everything). He is a BMW driiving instructor and is just looking to have one less car to take care of. Comes with all extra parts and 7 bbs wheels.
Also dropped price to $11.5K

Wow...S14 conversion. Sounds like a really nice car. Any pictures? Is this your first E30?
That car might be as close as you'll ever come to an E30 M3 cabrio; they were never officially imported into the US. |

Pictures above. Yes this is my first e30, familiar with the car, no where near familiar enough to work on it myself. Worried about a potential money pit. Although i love the swag in the car. If purchased, it would be a summer time cruiser, no serious mileage planned.

Car looks like a winner to me. It even has the M Technic badging on the sills and grille. The price is pretty good to be honest, you won't find that clean of an M Technic cabrio for less money. If the motor is sorted and runs well, I think you'll be in good shape.
E30s are very, very easy to work on. The S14 can be a bit finicky, but it's a very durable motor, especially when compared to today's standards. If you do buy the car and run into some questions along the way, feel free to PM me. I've owned several E30s over the years and still have my heavily modded iS. good luck with the car, nice find! |
