I apologize for posting about cool cars on a car forum, forgot that most BMW drivers aren't really car guys and have dealership lackeys work on their cars

Looks baller. I would want an LSx based one though, more room for horsepower.

Many people here have just gotten past the "appeal" of rat-rods or other gimmicky fads. I for one, don't understand what is special about this car, at all. Not hating, just saying, it's no big news to see it go away.

When you have warranty/maintenance covering everything, why would you waste money elsewhere?
Mods aside of course. those you need to go elsewhere for

Accurate.. BMW owners after E46 don't really turn wrenches. Can't argue that.

Love for automotive lunacy?

I apologize, I the largest watch I have is smaller than my wrist and I don't have a pair of cyclops Armani shades. I like cars because they're cars, not because it'll bait superficial females (or males)

This statement made no sense.

Anyways, the point of my original statement was:
If BMW is going to pay for all the warranty and maintenance work on the car, why would one take the car elsewhere? You're basically throwing money away

Of course, mods are on your own…. and if you're out of warranty… than of course you do not go to the dealership. But it's not always advisable to keep a german car out of warranty in my opinion. Too much of a headache
